Brighter Super’s new ad campaign highlights our commitment to helping members retire confidently

27 October 2025.
Brighter Super has launched a new advertising campaign inspired by our commitment to help you retire with confidence.
Set to the uplifting anthem, I Can See Clearly Now, the campaign portrays members relaxing in red hammocks gliding across iconic Queensland landscapes supported by Brighter Super’s new signature red balloons. Also featured is one of our very own Brighter Super specialists, Peter Hoban, who many of our members may know personally. This campaign brings to life the ease and optimism that comes from knowing your super and your future – are in good hands.
A fund that’s here to stay
Over the past three years, Brighter Super has transformed through the merger of LGIAsuper and Energy Super, and the acquisition of Suncorp Super. We’re proud to be a Fund that’s 100% member-owned, managing $36 billion for 348,000 members1.
We’ve built a fund that works hard to keep fees as low as possible and deliver strong long-term returns so you can retire with confidence.
Our MySuper investment option returned 10.89% over 12 months to 30 June 2025, and eight of our Accumulation and Pension options achieved double-digit returns over this period2.
Our Growth option continues to hold the #1 ranking in its SuperRatings’ index over rolling 7 years, for both Accumulation and Pension accounts3.
Confidence through care
“Our goal has always been to empower our members to feel confident about their future,” says Brighter Super CEO Kate Farrar. “We’re incredibly proud of the fund we’ve built, one that works hard to deliver strong long-term performance, keep fees as low as possible and offer genuine, personal support.
With over 40 super specialists across Queensland, we’re always nearby to provide tailored guidance and education” she added.
Growing the right way
Brighter Super’s new advertising campaign can be seen and heard across TV, radio, outdoor, YouTube and social media. But just as important – it’s been built with responsibility at its core.
We’re committed to promoting the fund responsibly to support sustainable growth and member value. Our marketing and advertising spending remains deliberately low, with spend well below that of many larger funds.
As we grow, our focus remains on what matters most: working hard to keep fees as low as possible for you, expanding investment opportunities, and maintaining the personal service that sets us apart.
Created with Brisbane agency BCM and production house Squeak, the campaign captures what Brighter Super stands for – being right by your side. The red hammock carried by red balloons symbolises the confidence, clarity, and peace of mind that come from being supported by a fund that truly cares.
A brighter future for members
Brighter Super’s focus on delivering value and confidence has earned national recognition – including being named one of only six funds in Australia to receive the Epic Retirement Tick4, awarded for excellence in helping members transition smoothly into retirement.
As the new advertising campaign rolls out, Brighter Super’s message is clear: with super support right by your side, you can see clearly now your brighter retirement.
