Craig Godfrey - BCom/LLB

Head of IFA Partnership and Growth

Craig has an extensive 25 year+ history in the financial planning and superannuation industries. He began his finance career as an adviser in 2000 with Whittaker McNaught and has since held numerous roles with organisations such as the SMSF Association, CBA, Sunsuper, BT and Findex before commencing his role as Head of IFA Partnership and Growth.

Nicky Leis - AdvDipFP

Senior Manager, Adviser Growth

Nicky has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry with previous experience as a life insurance adviser and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Brighter Super. Since joining the Brighter Super team in 2022, Nicky has been instrumental in developing and enhancing the adviser offering, ensuring all advisers have access to the tools and resources needed to provide the best possible adviser and member experience.

Nicky holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and is committed to ongoing professional development and excellence.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Nicky running around Brisbane training for her next marathon as she works her way to completing the six World Majors.

Geoff has been in the financial planning industry for over 15 years, in a number of different roles.

Having come from a background as a comprehensive adviser, Geoff understands the needs and challenges that advisers face.

Geoff holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and in his spare time loves a bit of camping, fishing, watching the footy and a day at the races.

Business Development Manager

Ryan has an extensive background in financial advice, across business development, client engagement and previously as a financial adviser.

Ryan loves to help financial advisers and super funds grow through clear education and strategic support, running educational sessions and strategy workshops, and providing hands‑on implementation support. Ryan is driven to improve members’ retirement outcomes and remove friction so advisers can focus on great client care.

Ryan is sports‑mad — from cricket to both codes of rugby, AFL and motorsport; an early adopter of new technologies who enjoys sim‑racing, cars and spending time with my family.

Hayley has over 10 years’ experience in financial services, building strong adviser relationships across risk insurance and now superannuation. She is passionate about making it easy for advisers to do business and is dedicated to supporting them in delivering great outcomes for their clients.

Hayley holds her RG 146 compliance and brings a structured, relationship-first approach to everything she does.

Tom Covino

Business Development Consultant

Tom brings three years of buy-side funds management experience as an investment analyst at DNR Capital, where he supported portfolio analytics, performance attribution, and client reporting across Australian equities strategies. He holds a CFA Level 1 qualification and has a background in data analytics and stakeholder engagement across investment and distribution teams. Tom joins Brighter Super as a Business Development Consultant, focussed on delivering high-quality service to the IFA channel.
