Jeremy Ross, Grad Dip Financial Planning

Financial Adviser

My values and strengths is a considered, authentic and client focused approach allowing me to provide advice with an optimal level of service built on old fashioned values. I deliver financial advice in a manner that is easy to understand and comprehend.

My ethics, passion and principles are built around working really hard, sticking to a plan and naturally the goal or summit will be reached. In saying that though it is important to prepare and plan for change as this happens in life where some things are out of our control.

The 15 years financial planning experience has seen my career directed to specialising in super & retirement planning. I also hold the Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning qualification.

Personally, I am a happily married family man and have been blessed with two beautiful children who are both now attending their primary schooling years. I am a self-confessed sports tragic where my veins bleed the Australian colours and I am also patiently awaiting for the Wallabies to return with the Beldisloe Cup away from New Zealand.

Gabrielle Williams, CFP, BComm (Fin), AdvDipFP

Financial Adviser

I have worked in financial planning for over 15 years in a variety of roles including paraplanning, technical support and advising. I have experience providing advice on investing, tax, Centrelink, estate planning, insurances and of course, superannuation. I’m passionate about advising on superannuation in particular because it is an excellent tool for saving for retirement but the many ever-changing rules can make managing superannuation seem daunting. I aim to provide advice in a way that is easy to understand and allows members to enjoy their retirement, instead of worrying about their super.

Gabrielle is a Certified Financial Planner who holds a Bachelor of Commerce and the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning.

Mark Rabius, AFP DipFP

Financial Adviser

I have been involved in the superannuation industry for over 30 years, starting out in administration for a large Queensland-based provider of Defined Benefit and industry funds in the early 90s. After a number of years in that role I started to wonder where the money was going when people retired, so for the past 25 years (silver jubilee) I’ve been in the financial advice industry. I began my advice career in the back office researching, modelling, and writing financial documents before coming to Energy Super to sit in front of the members to provide them with advice. I currently spend most of my days helping my clients navigate themselves towards retirement, and then setting up their finances to help them move into a successful and enjoyable retirement.

I enjoy helping people to achieve a better outcome than when they first came to see me. Sometimes that’s with a large reorganisation of their finances, but sometimes it’s simply a conversation. It’s nice to know that I can make a positive difference to people by helping them navigate through a period in their lives that they’ve probably not gone through before, and, if done properly, won’t need to try again.

I completed a Diploma of Financial Planning near the turn of the Century and, like many advisers of my vintage, have recently taken up further study to ensure that my skills and knowledge remain relevant in this ever-changing industry. I am also an Associate Financial Planner licensed by the Financial Planning Association, and you can find my details on the ASIC adviser register.
