Jeremy’s values are authentic and client-focused, allowing him to provide advice with an optimal level of service built on old-fashioned values. He aims to deliver financial advice in a manner that is easy to understand and comprehend.

Jeremy’s philosophy is centred upon working hard, disciplined principles and sticking to a plan, then naturally the goal or summit will be reached. Jeremy’s 18 years of financial planning experience has seen his career specialise in superannuation and retirement planning.

Personally, he is a self-confessed sports tragic where his veins bleed the Australian colours, and he is also patiently awaiting the Wallabies to return with the Bledisloe Cup away from New Zealand.

James entered the Financial Planning Industry in 2015, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a deep-seated passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning, and has been serving as a Financial Adviser since 2018.

James is committed to making superannuation straightforward and accessible, believing that ‘simple is best’. His approach is centred on demystifying financial concepts and providing clear, actionable advice that empowers clients to reach their goals.

Currently, James is furthering his expertise by pursuing a Master of Applied Finance, which he is set to complete in June 2026.

Outside of his professional endeavours, James finds joy in hiking and fishing; activities that allow him to unwind and connect with nature.

Katarina Glarin | AdvDipFP, BCom, MProfAcc

Financial Adviser


Katarina has over 20 years’ experience working in the investment banking and superannuation industries. She specialises in providing advice regarding insurance, contribution strategies and investment options, and helps members understand financial strategies and products that can help them achieve their financial goals.

Katarina migrated from Sweden to study at Griffith University in Brisbane. She graduated with a Bachelor of Commence, Banking and Finance at the top of her class and then completed a Master of Professional Accounting. After starting with the Fund more than 15 years ago (originally with Energy Super), she completed an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and became an adviser.

Outside of work Katarina enjoys spending time with her family.

Gabrielle Williams | CFP®, BCom(Fin), AdvDipFP

Financial Adviser


Gabrielle has worked in financial planning for over 15 years in a variety of roles including paraplanning, technical support and advising. She has experience providing advice on investing, tax, Centrelink, estate planning, insurances and, of course, superannuation.

She is passionate about advising on superannuation in particular because it is an excellent tool for saving for retirement, but knows that the many ever-changing rules can make superannuation seem daunting. Her goal is to provide advice in a way that is easy to understand and allows members to enjoy their retirement, instead of worrying about their super.

Gabrielle is a Certified Financial Planner who holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning

When Gabby’s not at work, she can be found caravanning near the beach with her family or taking a long walk in nature.

Ben is an enthusiastic, member-focused financial adviser who places a strong emphasis on educating his clients whilst ensuring his advice helps them achieve their financial goals.

Since joining the financial planning industry in 2015, he has gained extensive experience in various roles, including technical support, compliance, and direct advisory positions.

Ben provides comprehensive advice on retirement planning, wealth creation, wealth protection, Centrelink, and estate planning. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Financial Planning.

As a happily married family man with three children, Ben juggles his time between financial planning and family adventures. When he’s not crunching numbers, you can find him camping under the stars, perfecting his golf swing, or passionately supporting Everton.

Mark has been involved in the superannuation industry for over 30 years, starting out in administration for a large Queensland-based provider of Defined Benefit and industry funds in the early ’90s. After several years in that role, he started to wonder where the money was going when people retired, so for the past 25 years (silver jubilee) he’s been in the financial advice industry.

Mark enjoys helping people to achieve better financial outcomes – sometimes with a large reorganisation of their finances, but sometimes simply with a conversation.

Mark holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and is an Associate Financial Planner.

Rayya is a highly skilled, professional and driven financial adviser with over 15 years of practice experience. During this time, she has dedicated herself to providing clients with ethical and goals-based advice, and she is focused on helping clients achieve financial security and freedom.

Rayya has built her career on success through service, and Financial Planning is her craft. She is a Certified Financial Planner who also holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

Outside of work, Rayya enjoys spending time with her family as well as keeping fit with hot yoga, and resistance and weight training.

Darshil A. Shah | AdvDipFP, MBus AppFin (Adv)

Darshil has over 13 years’ experience in the finance industry as an adviser. He made Australia his home in 2009 and has been working with some of Australia’s largest superannuation funds as an adviser for almost 10 years.

Darshil is passionate about understanding members’ goals and helping them increase their confidence and knowledge of superannuation – allowing them to be proactive in enhancing their current and future financial wellbeing.

Darshil holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, Master of Business in Applied Finance (Advanced), Diploma of Financial Management, Diploma in Business Management and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting.

Outside of work, Darshil loves spending quality time with his wife and two beautiful children. He is also a professional musician, specialising in playing bamboo flute (bansuri). He currently performs and teaches both, nationally and internationally.

Steven has been in the financial services industry since 2009. He has worked in all facets of the financial planning industry including as a client service officer, a paraplanner, and now as a Financial Adviser.

Steven specialises in developing strategies to assist his clients to meet their goals leading up to retirement and beyond. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.

Outside the office, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and, if time allows, scuba diving.

Outside of work, Callum enjoys staying active, spending time with his family, and taking time away for family holidays.

Sean has worked in financial advice since 2012, gaining broad experience in boutique advice businesses, banking and superannuation funds before joining the Advice team at Brighter Super.

Having had the opportunity to assist clients from many different walks of life, Sean has found it particularly fulfilling to help members to make the most of their retirement savings. With a better understanding of their superannuation, Sean has found people are often much more confident about their financial position and their future.

Sean holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance, with a major in Investment Management.

He advises Brighter Super members on their investment options, saving for retirement with superannuation contributions, and insurance options within their superannuation accounts.

Aaron Fehér | BBus (Fin) GradDipFinPlan AFP

Financial Adviser


Aaron has worked in the financial services industry since 2007, and entered the financial planning industry in 2011, before commencing a role as a financial planner in 2013.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Finance, graduating in 2010 from the Queensland University of Technology, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. He is also a member of the Financial Advice Association of Australia.

Aaron lives in Brisbane with his wife. They both enjoy travelling Australia and the world. Aaron is also an avid Australian banknote and coin collector.

Shaylee has been in the financial services industry since 2015, working for a large advice practice before joining Brighter Super.

Articulating value is a challenge for people in most industries and financial advice is no different. Shaylee’s purpose is to establish trusted relationships based on advice that is not just valuable in a financial or monetary sense but valued by clients who receive it.

Shaylee specialises in providing advice to pre-retirees and retirees, and the transition out of the workforce and into retirement.

Shaylee has a Bachelor of Business and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). Additionally, she is in the process of completing her Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.

Craig Gordon | MBA, MEd, GradDipFinPlan

Advice Manager


Craig’s 24 years leadership across the education and finance industries means he looks at advice from a behavioural perspective. This leads to great conversations to assist members work out what they want to achieve regarding their needs.

As an adviser, Craig has experience in providing comprehensive advice including wealth creation and protection as well as retirement planning, estate planning and Centrelink.

Craig holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, a Master of Business Administration and Master of Education.

Outside of work, his time is devoted to his wife and three children – enjoying being an active part in all their pursuits.

Head of Advice


Steven has a wealth of knowledge with over two decades of industry experience and is passionate about quality advice and helping shape the future of the financial planning landscape.

Steven’s experience covers all aspects of financial planning, including running AFSLs, business transformation, and change and project management, and he has led multiple and diverse teams.

Steven holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Applied Finance, and he is a Certified Financial Planner and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has also been awarded a Distinguished Services Award by the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Steven keeps busy spending time with his wife, daughter and pets, or watching AFL, playing tennis, fishing or finding his miss-hit golf balls.
