Managing your Pension account online makes retirement easier

Your income needs in retirement can change from year to year, or even during the year. You might want to check when your next payment is due, adjust how much you receive, update your details or simply keep an eye on your balance.

Member Online lets you do many of these tasks, in one secure place, whenever it suits you. Or you can use the Brighter Super mobile app for quick access on your phone or tablet.

Recent improvements to the Brighter Super mobile app mean you can access your Member Online account within the app, without being redirected to an external browser.

Manage your Pension account online, anytime

With fast, user-friendly access, Member Online gives you the flexibility to manage your Pension account when it suits you.

Depending on your account and eligibility, here are some of the tasks you can do:

  • Check your account balance and investment performance.
  • Update your pension payment amounts* and frequencies, and request withdrawals.
  • Manage how your super is invested*.
  • Update your personal details and communication preferences.
  • Make or change a non-lapsing binding death benefit nomination.
  • Generate and download a member report at any time.
  • Download annual statements and benefit quotes.
  • Download your most recent income stream schedule for Centrelink purposes.

New features are added over time, making it even easier to manage your super your way. We’re continually improving Member Online and our mobile app based on what matters most to members. 

Guided by member feedback, Brighter Super is enhancing our online services to make them easier, faster and more convenient.

  • Note: If you are using Retire Easy Pension, changing your pension payment amount or investments will automatically opt you of Retire Easy Pension. Refer to the Pension Product Disclosure Statement for more details, available at brightersuper.com.au/pds-and-guides.

Member Online is available on desktop and mobile devices, so you can access your account wherever you are.

Your account is protected with Multi-Factor Authentication. This helps keep your account secure by using two layers of security – your password and a one-time code sent by SMS or email.

  • Enter your member number, name and date of birth.
  • Set your password.
  • Enter the one-time security code sent to you by SMS or email.

In just a few minutes, you’ll be ready to manage your Pension account online.
