Unit prices apply to the investment options in your account. Investment fees, transaction costs and taxes (where applicable) are deducted in the calculation of unit prices daily. Unit prices are calculated each business day and are used to calculate your account balance.

Brighter Super publishes daily unit prices and performance for the current financial year to date in the table below. The table also shows performance for one, three, five, seven and ten years as at the end of the previous month.

Investment returns are net of investment fees, transaction costs and taxes (where applicable) and gross of administration fees.

Defined Benefit Funds Accumulation Comparison rate is NET of admin fees. Defined Benefit Account (former City Super) crediting rate is GROSS of administration fees. Energy Super Defined Benefit Fund crediting rate is NET of administration fees.

FYTD return means the Financial Year to Date return starting from 1 July.

The Indexed Balanced option commenced on 6 April 2019, 10 year performance is not available.

The Indexed International Shares and Indexed Australian Shares commenced on 1 October 2026. As a result performance history is not yet available for the relevant time periods. FYTD returns reflect the performance from the commencement date of 1 October 2026.

From 1 October 2026 the Property option is fully invested in listed global property securities. Prior to this date it held a mix of listed and unlisted property. Returns therefore reflect the performance of both the previous and current investment strategies.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
On 31 May 2024 we streamlined our investment options into one investment menu for all members. As a result, some investment options were closed and members were switched to other investment options available within Brighter Super. Investment option performance for the closed options are available in the Closed investment option performance information report.
